My birthday boy!

My funny little guy is 2 years old today! He woke up like every other day, with a smile and some jumps, grabbing his baby and blankey ("key!") before I could scoop him up without them.

I have been replaying my labor and delivery the past few days, leaving out the parts that still annoy me, and focusing on the parts I loved. Would I do it over? In a heartbeat!

He'll spend the day at Miss Chars. They had a little party for him Friday, while Alexis was there. Had a ball of course! He got a magnetic writing board, a lawnmower and a wheelbarrel, lots of hugs, kisses and treats!

Uncle Doug and Aunt Cyndee stopped by yesterday after church with a birthday balloon and card with Mcdonalds money in it!

Great Grandma and Grandpa King sent a fun card with some birthday money, I'll save it till his birthday's over and see if there's anything he wanted but didn't get.

We're going to party on Saturday to celebrate Daniels birthday at (yeehaw) Chuck E Cheese!

That's right, I'm good.

Ohh yaahhhhh I got floor seats to the Wiggles :) Helps to be one of those moms who knows there are other moms out there who will drop everything and elbow the wimpy moms out of the way for something our kids want.
I went like 9:56 to ticketmaster and kept refreshing the page until the form to buy tickets came up. But I couldn't buy tickets!! It kept saying there were no tickets available. I quickly called ticketmaster, who told me in broken english the presale tickets were sold out for that day. Disgusted, I hung up on Habib and called the Palace box office directly where a lovely woman told me to use a different presale password on the ticketmaster website and viola! 4 seats in section D on the floor!

One thing I don't know is if we're on the aisle, which is most desireable as the Wiggles and their friends frequently go up and down the aisles, but I know the kids will have a ball, and that makes me so excited and happy!
While we wait the long months until August:

We'll have fun making a bone for Wags,

finding roses for Dorothy,

waving our feather swords at Captian Feathersword,

a pillow for Jeff (Daniel's favorite), who I just found out is 53!

apples for Anthony,

making a guitar to play along with Murray

and making signs to hold up saying we know how to "point our fingers and do the twist" with Sam (the new yellow wiggle who was formerly Professor Singalottasonga). Sam has been Gregs understudy for a few years on tours and knows his stuff!

Even though we're sad we never made it to a show with Greg Wiggle, They've found the younger kids associate the color yellow with the Wiggles, rather than the person IN the yellow shirt.

I promise I'm not obsessed with the Wiggles, it was really dead at work today haha

Wigglin' around

A few weeks ago I got a Wiggly Fan Club email from Captain Feathersword letting us know the Wiggles are coming to The Palace in August!

One day, two shows and the pre-sale for tickets begins in 30 minutes.

Alexis and Daniel love the Wiggles SO much, it wasn't even a question of "if" I would buy tickets, but how close to the front and the aisle I could get. Especially since we've seen a few live shows on DVD and they put on a good show.
Knowing how excited the kids will be, gives me a little flutter in MY tummy too!

Our Weekend!

While Alexis was off with Papa, Catie and "Junkfood Grandma" picking up her daddy in Petoskey, Daniel and I got a chance for some one on one.
After playing outside for the morning, Daniel was ready for a nap while I headed for musical practice. After nap/practice we headed for Krogers then stopped at coolcone for icecream! Daniel was so excited and kept doing this captain feathersword arm move and saying "i ceemmmm"
After Church Sunday there was a lunch at the Church which was a lot of fun! Daniel ate and ate and nearly passed out in his highchair. We decided to head to Meijer after naps and get some milk. Daniel immediatly ran to the wiggles cart so we rented it. He climbed right in and buckled himself up! He happily drove us around and bounced to the wiggles. While we were shopping we got a call from Alexis that she was home! So we checked out and drove home for lots of hugs, kisses and stories.
Alexis was exausted and climbed into bed about 7:30, when I checked on her a little bit later, she was zonked.
This is my last week of class, finals!! I'm glad for a little break, my brain is tired.

now I'm a believer....

so I took this quiz because I felt guilty about the tarot card thing haha this one is SPOT on!

You Are a Believer

You definitely believe in God - and you're very unwavering in your religious beliefs.
In fact, religion and spirituality are definitely big parts of your life.
Religion shapes how you view right and wrong, as well as the decisions you make.
It's hard for you to imagine how your life would be without your beliefs.

i AM the high priestess haha

I was looking through Karens blog today and decided to give this a try, what do you think? Is it right? :)

You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.
What Tarot Card are You?

Easter, and extreme close ups

The kids daycare provider, Char, has a great new camera phone and regularly takes pics of the kids during the day and sends them to me!

Easter

Had a very low-key Easter this year. alexis didn't wake me up until 8am, which is strange seeing as how the other day she woke me up so I could wait with her for it to be 6am so she could turn on her tv. When I got the kids up we had a fun time hunting for the eggs the easter bunny had gotten up at 4:30 to hide. Alexis had trouble finding her Easter basket, the bunny hid it well and she needed a suggestion from mom to find it in the front closet. She helped Daniel find his though, hidden behind the curtain. The easter bunny did go a little overboard...but the kids loved it. After breakfast we got all dressed up and went to Church at Central...came home and took naps! After nap we went to Papa and Lori's to visit and have some dinner. After the kids were in bed I drove out to eaton rapids and spent some time with the fam. it was a nice Easter.

Life Resumes

Someday I'll post the blog I wrote about the past 8 days. But not yet.
