Football Tragedy

So alexis and I went to Eaton Rapids homecoming game tonight....ouch
Final score: Eaton Rapids 6, Ionia 48.
Alexis had fun which was good :) She sat with Uncle Doodoo and Catie, and snuggled with Papa when it started getting too cold. She got ahold of a pom pon and was shaking it in everyones face...and bopped one of Andys friends in the mouth! she was feisty around all those teens! Papa didn't help though, telling her to put Andy in a headlock and give him noogies hehe

Weekend fun!

This weekend we (me, gram, alexis and daniel) went to the Michigan Apple Festival at the Country Mill in Charlotte. We all had a blast, even though it rained a little. We had hot cider and donuts and watched a team of old ladies clogging, wandered the booths, even ran into some old friends running a booth! It was so nice to see them, and they made Alexis the prettiest bracelet! http://www.butlersbeauties.com/ Alexis got to pick out what beads she wanted, pic to come later. We took a 'train' out to the orchard and picked some delicious apples. Daniel even picked his own and chowed down on it, whole! It was just his size too. I took Alexis' picture in a bunch of those cut outs...she looked so funny

Ok, so i've been a lazy blogger
to catch you up, school has started for me and for Alexis
Alexis has really enjoyed school so far and has started teaching me chinese words already!

Daniel, without Alexis at day care, has started talking more and he also officially has 10 teeth now!
I've started my transcription class and also intro to human disease and I have a new job that starts monday :)

Labor day

Happy Labor Day! this weekend has been pretty low-key, no big plans, except we're going to Miguel and Saras for a bbq in a bit. After naptime of course! I think I'm finaly healing, got some of my old zip back saturday. Sunday did some mad grilling. Grilled a skirt steak with a grainy mustard and lemon juice marinade, lemon pepper white fish, onions, spiral and curly potatoes, apples with brown sugar, raisins and cinnamon...mmmm.....

I am gallbladderless

Surgery is done, it was a success! The only glitch was they had to make the incisions a little bigger than they thought they were going to have to, so instead of just steristrips, I got STAPLES yikes! I'm so sore! I did get some interesting pictures of the surgery though. AnywayI think I'm going to try and take a shower. :)

Haircut

We went and got Daniel's hair cut today, now Alexis is telling me she wants her hair cut short haha He did such a good job, only a few tears! And he looks so handsome now :)
Tomorrow at noon is my surgery, I'll be glad to get it over with. Now if I can just keep the kids from jumping on me for a few days.....

Goodbye ghetto house!!

So I go back to get the rest of my stuff from Ghetto house, and of course, it's been defiled again. That was the last day I held the lease on it, I'm glad!! This time, whoever was in there was throwing my pretty dishes out the second story window. Luckily they didn't throw too many. They also stole my mailbox again.
August 11 I get my gall bladder out. whoopee! I'm hoping they'll take pity on me and let me stay the night since I have two little ones who love to jump on Mom. Plus, I don't have a recliner to sleep in. We'll see. :)
