Busy Saturday!

What a busy fun day we had! Today the city of Lansing had an event called "Be a Tourist in Your Own Town" which encourages local tourism. The buses run special routes that take you past all the neat places Lansing has to explore! You ride the bus all day for only $.50
We rode the bus to Pruess Animal house and saw pretty much every animal, reptile and rodent in the place!

After a nice rest, Alexis and I went to Post Oak for the school carnival!

Growing Pains

Daniel has been having a lot of unexplained aches and pains lately. I decided to measure him today, turns out he has grown TWO INCHES in the past 3 weeks! He is slowly but surely closing in on Alexis. I mentioned that again to Alexis who asked how tall they would be when they're grown up. I found a couple of height predictors online and ran them both through. Alexis is predicted as being around 5'2", Daniel is predicted as being 5'10"-11". I showed Alexis how big 8 inches is and saw the realization on her face that her little brother will be her much bigger brother someday...

Today...

I did things just because I wanted to.
I bought Alexis 9 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts and 4 pairs of tights. I bought cereal just because I wanted what was inside. I watched Sex and the City at 11:30am, and then I went for a pedicure lol

Edit: ok, so later I did something I DIDN'T want to do, I had to buy a new tire. Thanks Michigan potholes! My STEEL rim had actually bent. grrr oh well, win some, lose some!

Daniel's Birthday, part three

On Daniel's birthday, April 30th, we went to his favorite place: Chuck E. Cheese

He opened some really fun presents!

Had a chocolate Diego cake,

Played games!

Did some climbing and sliding

and some dancing for Grandma when it was over!
